Are You Experiencing Difficulty In Walking, Running, Jumping, Descending Stairs, Or Performing Your Regular Work Or Home Duties Due To Pain In Your Ankle Or Foot?
If So, Do Any Of The Following Situations Sound Familiar?
- You initially expected the pain to subside within a few days or weeks, but it persisted?
- You attempted various remedies such as heating pads, ice, and home TENS units, but they provided no relief?
- You received a few massages, but the pain returned shortly afterward?
- You consulted a doctor who conducted imaging tests, administered injections, or prescribed medication, yet the relief was temporary?
- You previously underwent physical therapy, but it failed to alleviate the pain?
- You've come to the conclusion that avoiding activities that exacerbate the pain is a tolerable solution for you?
Our primary goal is to assist you in finding lasting solutions!
The Following Are Common Ankle/Foot Conditions That We Specialize In Treating:
- Arthritis
- Ankle sprain
- Plantar fasciitis
- Posterior tibial tendinopathy
- Achilles tendinopathy
- Midfoot pain
- Morton’s neuroma
Common Causes:
- Impaired Mechanics: Stiffness in the joint or reduced flexibility in the muscles can result in a limited range of motion. Weakness, muscle imbalances, and impaired posture can also contribute to this condition.
- Injury: Sudden impact or excessive strain on the tissues can lead to injury.
Chronic - Chronic Compensations: Previous injuries or the fear of future injuries can cause individuals to avoid using certain muscle groups, leading to overuse of other tissues as compensation.
Core Health Approach:
- Break the Pain Cycle: Through education, manual therapy, and enhancing tissue mobility, we aim to interrupt the cycle of pain.
- Improve Mechanics: Our approach focuses on enhancing the mechanics of joints, muscles, and nerves during daily functional tasks as well as exercise or sport-specific activities.
- Load the Tissue: By appropriately loading the tissues, we strive to improve their strength, power, and endurance. This ensures that the tissues are prepared to meet the demands of desired activities without fear of reinjury.
Our Core Health approach encompasses these strategies to help you find relief and achieve long-term improvements in your ankle/foot condition.

I love Core Health Pilates! Before trying Core Health, I was a little (a lot?) intimidated by reformer pilates, but Lisa is thoughtful and encouraging. I started visiting her to regain strength after a back injury, and now I can't imagine my routine without Core Health. Lisa meets you where you are and cheers you on as you gain continued strength--truly a game changer.
